Whether you opt for pastel designs, playful characters, or motivational quotes, placing them in the corners helps frame your page and creates a balanced, visually appealing layout.
Step three
Use highlighters to draw a colourful border inside your page.
Run them along the edges, just inside the washi tape and between the stickers.
Choose pastel or bright colours to match your theme and keep the look playful but clean.
Step four
To complete your kawaii journal page, use a Sakura Pigma Micron ~ Black Liner Pen to draw a dot-dash-dot border around the highlighter border.
This simple yet elegant detail adds definition and contrast, making your design stand out.
