Welcome to The Kawaii Nest – Your Home for the Cutest Stationery and Kawaii Journaling

The Kawaii Nest was founded in 2023 by us, a mum-and-daughter duo with a shared passion for cute stationery. We were frustrated by the lack of cute and affordable options in Australia, so we turned to overseas sources. Our search for stationery that matched our style and budget led us to Simno—a stationery brand whose adorable designs and exceptional quality instantly won us over.  Once we tried them for ourselves, we knew we had to share these adorable finds with others in Australia who love using cute stationery.

Journaling Isn’t Just About Writing

I didn’t discover the fun of kawaii journaling until after opening the store and curating these products for the Australian market. What started as a simple search for cute stationery turned into a creative hobby that I now enjoy almost daily. Journaling isn’t just about writing (I don’t write in mine)—it can be about filling your pages with kawaii stickers (my favourite part), washi tape, and cute pens to create something really fun. It’s a low-pressure, creative outlet that helps you unwind and express yourself. Since discovering this world, I’m thrilled to share it with others.
