Master class on creating a collage in the style of "busy pages" with SIMNO stickers "Coffee and cakes"

Main materials and tools: a notebook in a grid/dot page style, SIMNO stickers, markers, black liners (thickness - 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 mm), a sticker cutting tool, tweezers, a spatula, note paper, glue stick, glitter washi tape of 3 colours, paper clips.
Auxiliary tools (may be needed): a ruler, a cutting mat, scissors.

Choose water marker shades, glitter washi tape, and note paper that match the colours of your stickers. Most stickers aren’t overly bright, so stick with pastel tones. Glitter washi tape adds strong sparkle and is used here to create small accents. Use a ruler if you want cleaner, straighter lines. A thicker black liner works best for drawing frames, while a thinner one is better for adding lines inside them.

Step one

The workplace should be well lit. Prepare everything you need to create a collage, put it in front of you.

Step two

Think about how you will place the collage elements on the pages of the notebook.

Glue the note paper. Using a sticker cutting tool and a ruler, cut strips of each of the 3 colours from glitter washi tape (here - long 88 mm, short 36 mm) and make frames from them.

Step three

Cut out the stickers. It is recommended to cut as close to the outline of the sticker drawing as possible.

If you find it difficult to do this with a sticker cutting tool, then use scissors instead.

Step four

Glue the stickers onto the note paper and inside the glitter washi tape frames, according to the image of the collage you have chosen. 

While gluing, use a black liner to draw frames on the note paper, and on the marker-painted background for the collage elements (here it is a wavy frame around the checkered background).

Add the remaining stickers to the drawn checkered background. Use a black liner and a ruler to draw lines for notes. 

Your collage is ready!!!

Now you can enjoy how everything comes together – the colours, textures, and small details all working around your stickers.
